Frequently Asked
Questions:
What is a FastTrack course?
A FastTrack
course is an accelerated, blended course that
combines time spent in the classroom with online
learning activities. FastTrack courses are 6-8
weeks in length.
What types of courses are offered?
General education courses and courses in
business are offered as part of the FastTrack
program.
When are the courses offered?
The courses are scheduled on Tuesday and
Thursday evenings. Other courses not part of the
FastTrack program are offered on other nights or
online.
How long will it take me to finish?
FastTrack students may complete the associate
degree with a focus in business in two years by
taking classes on a part-time basis year round.
Do FastTrack courses cost more?
FastTrack course
tuition is identical to any
other course offered on campus.
Is financial aid available?
FastTrack students may receive financial aid, if
eligible. Please talk with a FastTrack advisor
or financial aid specialist on eligibility
requirements.
What computer skills are required?
FastTrack students will need to be proficient in
the use of word processing (Microsoft Word),
e-mail and the internet. A one-credit class,
offered each fall, helps FastTrack students
develop the computer skills needed to be
successful in an online learning environment.
Do I need to take the ACT test?
If you
are 21 years of age or older, the ACT test is
not required for admission.
