The Distinguished Alumni Award is established to honor and recognize UW-Fond du Lac alumni who have attained notable achievement in their career field, demonstrated philanthropic or public service activity that supports the community or provided inspiration to others. Meet previous recipients of the Distinguished Alumni Award.

The Distinguished Alumni Award recipient will be honored at the UW-Fond du Lac Foundation's annual donor and scholarship recognition reception on Sept. 16, 2009, and should be available to attend the event and accept the award.

The recipient will also be honored with a personalized brick in the Foundation Celebration Walk and have their name engraved on a perpetual plaque displayed in the University Center Commons.

Current UW-Fond du Lac Foundation Board members and UW-Fond du Lac employees are not eligible to receive the award. Nominees must have attended UW-Fond du Lac at anytime since the campus opened in 1968 for at least two semesters. The award may be granted posthumously.

Based on the above criteria, I would like to nominate the following person for the 2009 UW-Fond du Lac Distinguished Alumni Award.
