Leanne Doyle to participate
in national LERN Conference
Leanne Doyle, UW-Fond du Lac’s continuing
education director, will moderate a
pre-conference seminar on successful youth
programming in higher education at the LERN
(Learning Resources Network) national conference
being held in San Francisco, California, with
national and international attendees in
November.
The UW-Fond du Lac
Continuing Education Office is well known
for its youth programs including College for
Kids, LEAPS!, theater camp and Super Saturdays;
plus over 1,000 youth annually participate in
its athletic programming.
UW-Fond du Lac is also a founding sponsor of
the GMSO (Girls + Math + Science =
Opportunities) program for middle school girls
that has expanded to three other campuses as a
GEMS (Girls Engineering Math Science)
initiative.
