The two
evenings each feature the same concert
performance, but on Saturday night, March 21,
the evening also includes an Irish buffet dinner
by Linstrom’s Catering.
On Friday,
March 20, the Celtic concert will begin at 7:30
p.m. Advance tickets for this night are $10 for
adults, $5 for students and free for UW-Fond du
Lac students. Tickets at the door are $2 more.

On Saturday,
March 21, the evening opens with a cash bar at 6

foods at 6:30 p.m., followed by the concert at
7:30 p.m. The cost for Saturday night is $27

Tickets can be
purchased by phone at (920) 929-1111 or in

(M-F, 8-4:30 p.m.).
Both evenings
will include traditional Irish and Scottish
music sung by Fond du Lac Chamber Singers with
guest appearances by former Chamber Singer and
tenor Paul Thompson singing an audience favorite
“Danny Boy”, Kevin Neveau on bagpipes and Judy
Pellerin on flute joining Chamber Singer Teresa
Emery on tin whistle. John Emery will round out
the evening leading the audience in singing
familiar toe-tappin’ tunes.
The Fond du
Lac Chamber Singers, directed by UW-Fond du Lac
Music Professor and Associate Dean
Patricia Eby,
will sing traditional tunes “Molly Malone”
with soloists Jaci Loduha and Joe Birschbach,
“Annie Laurie”, “The Parting Glass”, “The Rocky
Road to Dublin” and “The Wearin’ of the Green”
in addition to more contemporary sounds of
“Dulaman” and “Only Time” by Enya.
“Much of
Celtic music has a haunting ethereal sound which
is sure to leave the audience inspired and
enriched by its sheer beauty,” said Eby who
teaches world music. “The rest of the music is
rollicking and toe-tappin’. It is sure to be a
night to please all.”
