UW-Fond du Lac student Josiah Zabel, left, receives his ballot from Kathleen Lazarewicz, center, and Carolyn Donohue, right, as students in Donald Schwartz’s political science classes conducted a mock election at the campus with the assistance of the Student Government Association on October 15 in the University Center Commons.

The polls were open for 13 hours, from 7 am to 8 pm, that day and 170 students and staff voted. Students staffed the polls the entire day and also assisted in tallying the results.
